If you simply want a whistle-stop touristy tour, all facts, stats and on the map, then don’t go with these guys.But if you’re eager to toss that guidebook, to step into those crumbling courtyards, to push through that open door and the opportunity to talk with the diverse characters of Jozsefvaros in person, then Beyond Budapest is definitely what you need.

Thanks very much for a very informative and interesting tour of district VIII. It was especially memorable to learn of the history from a native with a passion for the city and Hungarian history, and all of its people.
The tour was among the highlights of a terrific vacation in Budapest.

Really fascinating to learn so much about streets, some of which we must have walked through a hundred times without knowing what stories lay behind or inside the stones.
